Birth
It is believed by some people that immediately after birth we are starting to die. Though it is a disputable thesis, there are no doubts that the problem of death is a matter of concern at the every point of human life starting from birth or even before it.
May be it's not so important for new born people to comprehend the process of life and death, but it can be important for parents as well as for every other people, who are trying to understand the sense and pace of human life.
Though we don't have enough scientific explanation and comprehension of the process of human birth (of course not the physical but spiritual one) we have some facts to analyze and compare.
First is it easy to come to this life? Probably not. Though general impression about birth is connected with happiness and celebration, it's still rather painful and difficult process both for mother and baby. More to this, baby is like sick aged person is helpless and requires total assistance from the side of parents/guardians.
Similarities between birth and death - come even longer. From the generic point of view we are coming from nowhere when we born and return to nowhere when we die. Isn't it mysterious? And can we benefit both events by studying them together? Probably, yes.
We think that birth traditions are better developed comparing to the traditions of death. Usually people are rather cooperative in welcoming spirit coming to new born and vice versa they are fighting the spirit which is trying to go out when we are dying. It looks like when your good friend is coming to visit you. When she arrives you are glad. When she is living you can be sad, but probably you will never fight her to stay. Unfortunately this doesn't work in the questions of birth and death - we usually welcome birth, but fighting death by making seek people suffering and prolong their desperate life for a long period. This did not bring any happiness nor to dying neither to people who support them. It can sound cruel and may be non philanthropic, but that's the natural way of life and we have to develop the ways to obey it.
Another question which is very important to us: are these events (birth and death) just similar or they are opposite points of one cycle? We mean is reincarnation in any form exists? And how can we scientifically prove it. And if we prove it is this process manageable? Who knows…
